[The staff are a little worried about Daud wandering around like an escaped prisoner. Some of the maids flee at the sight of him, since they know him to be a dangerous man. Even the guards are wary of approaching him. Not because they don't want to, but because they have orders.
Once Daud finally managers to corner a servant, the man points him in the direction of a room with large double doors.
When Daud goes to that room to look for Billie, inside he finds a comfortable sitting room with furnishings and a roaring fire. There's a large desk and ticking grandfather clock. Sitting at that desk is not Billie, who's nowhere to be seen, but Corvo Attano.
Corvo puts a couple of papers down on the desk and stands.]
Daud. You're alive.
[It was a little uncertain for awhile if Daud would actually pull through.]
