What they'd done to him (because how, how is it he doesn't feel that drain anymore, that sense of his life being siphoned so swiftly away). What Corvo wants with him, expects from him. What happened to the Outsider. (What happened to the Outsider?) Why Daud was permitted to walk freely through the hallways. What's meant to happen next.
